when mark told me the news, it was like, dazed. completely.

today's topic is on attention span. in definition, it is the length of time you can concentrate on some idea or activity.

there are many exclamations that lead me to this topic for today.

assignments overdued - that i have to still do those assignments that were already off the hands of my classmates and continue full attention
the show, social network - which i cant help it but live in admiration of geeks who can totally "wire-in" in doing their programming stuffs. Awe-some!
men's attention span on each woman - it's short, real short

being able to stay focused is tough, especially when you've got a facebook account, msn account, skype, all blinking with notifications at the same time. ppl have wondered how ancient ppl survived without all the aid of technologies but i begged to differ. I wonder, how the "now" ppl can live with all these distractions! its either work is not done or they are superb multi-taskers... which unfortunately i'm not.

so, wiring-in is something that is attaining in forced circumstances. like doing an assignment. you know what, i really hated doing assignments especially you are trying so hard to prove a point and endless editing that can sometimes can end up being nonsensical after numerous thesaurus replacements. well, i was wired-in continuously for hours so i deserve a verbal diarrhea in this blog. agree?

recently, many of my galfriends had faced r.s problems... some were quarrelling with their bfs, others felt neglected and suspected their bfs, etc etc... it seems that sparks between couples aint easy to maintain... sometimes, this can correlate well with the ability to maintain each other's attention spans, which typically, guys attention span for gals are super short... not to discriminate, but yes... out of 10 guys, 9 look out at other gals as they get bored with the one infront of them, with the last one not interested in gals at all. oh gosh where has the typical "loving dovey affair" landed in? in the chute! gone were the days...

its sad... but what is not when reality hits?

its time to exclaim again... probably because i am not working, kinda felt redundant when i wake up at ard 11 am, having no one to talk to, needing to rush some assignments, reluctant to move it.. that i felt terrible... this sort of feelings aint something that i like... having things unfulfilled...

seems that my social life is funneling to somewhat a reduced state where i highly depend on one or two friends to survive... used to have a pool of fun-loving, cute colleagues whom i terribly missed, gals gatherings on next day or other... to a clinic where i survived on my own with one or two ppl to talk to.... then to a world that i lived on my own... will i end up alone afterall?

for some, it's a trade-off to the job desired. To others, a focal point for success. often, in real world, we choose to live with many surrounding us, enjoying love and joy shared amongst mankind rather than aiming for the stars... it's really a struggle... success or family? often a large consideration for lady with age catching up like nobody's business...

my last thoughts were to give up pursuing higher degrees to stay on for someone who i believed worthwhile... eventually i have to progress stages of my life like a normal gal does even (though i may deny the fact sometimes), even i have the passion to mug forever... As it drags on, i am not confident of that anymore... with no promising path, loads of uncertainty... dun wanna regret my life by not speaking and let chances slip through... yet... i am discouraged... i guess, i shall remain unspoken, maybe letting go probably is the best... i really dunno...

King's park on eve of Queen's Birthday

trip to down south is my first attempt... with loads of different experiences... time passes fast for some reason i'm glad that it did... but of course i still enjoyed but with mixed feelings.

i loved... the

weather... it hovers between 8-22 which we'll never ever get something close back home... picnics are great!
nature... beautiful wildflowers and produce... everything is NATURAL!
golf courses... perfect weather for a game... except i dun have a kaki...

but of course some grunts about other stuffs as well... mixed feelings its a stress + holiday period... all classmates are rushing to complete assignments and we've got some "pest" in the house... irritating... hopefully it leaves soon.... on top of that everywhere closes at 5pm sharp! what a great life the aussies have...

tml's jog up north to ocean reef... i'm hoping the coastlines will perk up my day tomorrow...

just spoken to a long long friend over the phone... great to catch up and gather that everything is fine... it reminds me of those days in secondary school when we hogged onto phone and talk non-stop, till my parents say:"gal-ah... enough bullshit ya... better stop it... tel phone bills are rocketing... you gonna pay for that?!"

these days, bills are self-financed, but rarely ppl call nor the reverse... at times when the phone get connected, but you're at a total lost. "What to say? how to start?" in the middle of conversation, "opps, what else? what else??" couldnt believe it... i actually lose the skill of phone hogging for an hour or two!

needa to catch up with my friends soon! missing... those moments... :)

its great effort ppz... for putting up mega performances for a fortnight long...

yeah, i caught 2 pre-shows of the inaugural Youth Olympics Opening and i see enthusiasts coming together hyping up the crowds... great efforts and i'm thankful that they are the young ones who are heavily engaged in this... you only live young once and chances are scarce! and i saw myself from the past doing the same... oh gosh i missed those days...

ppz must be thinking, why am i so into it? we need some encouragement here for there being not enough support in the society to build greater dreams... i'm not sure why but i heard more criticisms than gratefulness and support for those young ones who dived in all their time, sweat and efforts just to arouse the crowd who appear less than an alive chicken... So, at least one genuine supporter may be better than none... :)

but of course, we are improving... not as aloof as we used to be... more events are coming our way and we can show ppl who exactly we are... some fun lot (who are still law-abiding), with great character and enthu... and probably still as efficient as we are...

well, almost a 12 hr journey but really tiring... nearly 7 hrs of game... considered really long! but ponderosa was a nice deal at least for this first timer, aint a need for extra unwanted pressure like a string of buggies awaiting for ya... can't imagine if i get on a course where all the veterans in the next flight crossing their legs, sticking their clubs and body in the waiting position, seemingly relaying the message "hey take your time, go ahead" but means "what took you so long?!"

Thoughts from first-timer with no proper lessons:

nice game except that i couldnt hit far... so for each hole, Aviel and Toon took prob 1-2 strokes to the green, I'll take over double par to do so... mmm is it a triple? or a quadruple par? that i'm not sure but didnt matter... Pat's velocity's great... hitting long, straight strokes... I wanna be like her! sad thing about hitting near - the guys get to take the buggy more and i get to walk though the whole course, which explains why I'm so tired... nah... everyone is, i bet! oh btw, buggy's fun!!!! can corner, can drift, can be a bumper car!

we sort of "calibrated" a new song with wondergal's "Nobody"... try singing it with:

"I see.. No birdie, no birdie but Par" *clap clap. clap clap.*

BKT was the next thing in mind after the game... great coincidence, bumped into Toon's boss, Yoshida TAKUKI... hahhaha TAKUKI TAKUKI... what a name i dunno but it tickles me whenever i hear that name being addressed :P

its pretty awesome that someone like me will be able to move it for a 7am run...

bearable at 8am...
beyond that, totally inhumane to conduct the run... it's freaking sizzling esp in the afternoons... which gives me a mixed feeling if one day a car on the road sudden explodes due to the scorching sun! "mad" u must be thinking... but what rules out the impossibility of that happening? cant answer...

i'm happy that i finally satisfied my desire to do a LSD training... but totally sad to see all the grass turning brown... which makes that looked like Texas... some may say that's romantic... but i think that's grass crying out loud for help... boo hoo!!! hasnt been raining for a while and i must say the weather had gone cranky... seriously.

spot on! mmm i'm what she predicted all along... 20 years had passed and this poor habit of mine has not changed a bit... i'm one of those who like to do stuffs that i'm already buried deep in but had a little reluctance in start of conceptualizing new things... not that i hate change... just that i need abit of buffer in time before i can get into it... this is what others called PROCRASTINATION... major boo boo...

it applies for my training log too... am supposed to progress but instead, i applied PROCRASTINATION again!!! (half marathon is due in May again :$)

in sports psych class last week, Gibson mentioned the difference between anxiety versus aggression in athletes... Appropriate level of aggression may do good to athletes level of performance... However, state and trait anxiety unmanaged would cause extreme, detrimental effects... at times i suspect that I may be at the extreme end of the scale where it would require a super-provoking stimuli to push me ahead.

In other words, I'm super lagged... thanks, i know...

i should be writing my company blog which's due last week but here i am, satisfying myself with my own masterpiece before starting on the daily "exciting" matter...

abstract:

today's classified as "shagged-out"day with multiple patient requests and doctor's request... we're not supposed to see anyone today since technically the expert is on military command... but i supposed otherwise i should supposed... on the other hand, its good news for us since that's business, contributing to our fat bonus next yr... maybe i shouldnt say "we"... but "they"... totally exhausted unwillingly... talking is a chore... i hoped for a quieter day... not quiet business but less willing to communicate guests... tough cookie though...

straight down to suggestions:

(1) no lunch, no break for the day... the lack of carbs was culprit for inducing the lethargic in me... solutions -> stuffed the hungry woman with plenty of sushi...

(2) feel-good factor down to a big zero. solutions -> pamper the lady with a good manicure... splashed some quick-drys for a higher notch of feel good

(3) deadbeat yet in need of completing real work... solution -> grab some longing-to-have starbucks caramel macchiato for the boost...

followed golf celeb Michelle Wie from hole 4 to hole 9... caught a glimpse of local amateur Joey Poh in tee off action... on return, noticed some many eyes were on Ai Miyazato... In fact, that's an entourage!

Oh gosh... didnt knew that golf was so tiring... out of 18-hole game and i only went through 6... blame it on Singapore's weather... real bad~

Was fruitful looking at how the game was conducted, crash course from Mr T learning the terms used, the green rules... the pros were really good with under pars being so common that "birdies" and "eagles" crossed their cards... while ocassionally "boogies and "double boogies" were marked down... of course i crashed even before the game ended... but i was just looking at the scores today... hehe seems like no hole in one was made... looks like didnt missed much of the show! :)

well of course we have our made in singapore athlete... gaining some exposures in the game getting a +35 which according to Mr T was not bad... i wasnt paying attention... but guess he usually scores +70 plus... mmm i guess it would take me +1000 over to reach the last green...

after that head for class... and during the session, my head was filled with golf images and the dark images/shadows that ppl get after too much sun... was it really the sun or Mr Zhou lullaby-ing me to sleep... mmm...

Dr B. Gibson asked: "Quote me an example of goal setting in a sporting environment". Most classmates said... "improve my running time" "improve my vertical jump"... they meant real... and mine was "to drive the golf ball to 250m within 3 months"... will i be able to do that??? (hint: current state - less than 50m with iron... so you'll find out)

well, lets see... if I were to complete mission, I'll have to:

Find a good coach
Perfect biomechanics (hurray! learning it this semester... prob can choose golf as my topic)
Get some swings... real hard sessions say 3 times a week or daily if possible... (which ends me up with more Wei Kang sessions...)

it will be worth it if i get a game of my own in the end... :)

8 Jan 2010 was the day when I ended my last day of work at Singapore General Hospital, bidded goodbye to many whom i'll certainly miss... this is one job where i get to meet so many ppl,

and countless great doctors and administrative staff...

seriously, i literally grew up in SGH for 4 years and parting the organization made me sad... but i had to...

realised that i'll start blogging whenever i had to study for exams or rush an assignment... doesnt sound fantastic but at least i've blogged... haha...

i've just attended a wedding (again!) last evening... it's adel & vin's... they had been together for donkey years and of course what they've went through wasnt as easy as the 220 guests would be able to visualised through a night of lavish gourmet & tonnes of beers...

my perspective - couples staying together would require being true to each other. in the past, i thought it would be easy... but as you grow wiser, things become more complex... given the fact that you need to grapple the thin line drawn mid of sharing everything and respecting individual privacy... that's tough...

i'm always amazed that some guys shared their facebook/email/other personal login passwords with their galfriends... its an exaggerated fact that i knew some couples are up to... but never did i request tt in past r/s cos I believed that all of us out there need to have our own space to breathe in...

on the contrary, these 3 years, i've learnt that if you are really with someone, there is seriously a baseline to understand the person you are hanging out with, be it a friend, family, boyfriend, spouse or whom so ever close to you... otherwise, why hangout? there is no reason one should guess what the other party had done and act nonchalantly when there are spots of evidence driving u to think otherwise...

Although there is no way this should cross my mind if the intent is to look for someone to share the rest of your life with, be able to trust each other, depend on each other... BUT i must admit that it's real difficult for me to bare my heart out when always speculating if there is even a slight chance of getting hurt.

Solemn vows that the newly wed had made seems to knock some sense in me... i must learn to be true to what i do, to my friends, family and ppz i meet... MUST do this before i can receive positive reciprocals... it's a tough but what in life is not! :)

taken from and episode in grey's anatomy... well this will be "blog of the day"... many a times i ponder if i should start treating life seriously, drilling down ppl for answers to my full-of-queries-life, knowing exactly what's happening and of course to have a MSproj file with a train of "meet dates" never ending towards the right of your screen...

i had always leave things with a leeway for freedom and some space for ambiguity, for growth... nothing in the world is rigid and I have instilled the belief that u cant plan everything under the sun... be it work, study, be it friendship, family or even in relationship, this belief spans across all... and when it comes to human contact, we all need space... somewhere to breathe...

what caused me a second thought then? top 5 reasons:

1) i'm aging like nobody's business... need to move on

2) leaving too much to the unknown gets me the irky feeling

3) my bro's conversation with me 20 mins ago... "what plans you have in your life?"

4) brain cells less worked = getti

ng more bimbotic

5) at a lost now!

it seems that this pure luck thingy is eating into me... there must be a plan, there must be a target, a goal in what i wanna achieve and time is scarce... i know i must hurry but which direction must i head for... which is a prudent choice? "i dunno..." seems the perfect exclamation i will say... once someone told me and forced me to make decision for myself... guess this must be done so as to define who i am even before determining who i want to stay on with or where i want to head for...

how do i do that? must i treat life seriously in order to find myself?

triathlon home edition & story of a dime

totally i was burnt! triathlon home edition caused it... hahha was expecting some grueling training sessions but in the end, it became abit leisure instead and i walked home looking like a red monkey...

was my first attempt swimming further than 10m away from shore... almost reached the buoy that's hanging between two islet... afraid of what? SHARKS!!!!!! and of course what lies beneath in the deep blue sea... but but but... i must vouch for sentosa's water... its sparkling clean + welcoming that we originally aimed to smuggle in illegally into one of the hotel's pool but retreated for the better!

trip is really duo zai duo nan (loads of hiccups)... take this incident as example...

part 1: missing a dime

1. look at vending machine confirmed 100plus cost $1.60
2. took out $1.60 worth coins
3. locked up the locker (no more remaining dollar coin for reopening)
4. T went toilet... elle proudly took $1.60 to vend. mach.
5. to elle's horror...
6. short of A DIME!!!7. elle wishfully "is there any one the floor?"
8. T still in toilet... elle: "mmm... how about the fountain aka wishing well?" NOTHING!!!!
9. T came out. Elle confessed truthfully. "what?!"
10. Borrowed a dime from bicycle uncle but promised will come back and rent his bics... *SO MALU*

part II: unaccepted 20cents

still at the same vending mach.

we securely hugged the bunch of coins back to mach. afraid it will scatter onto the ground which then waste our efforts for ONE 100plus... its ONE 100plus... i refused to take a coke ($1.60) before training ahahhaha... nevertheless, at last throw of coin into the mach, it simply say "unaccepted" and this time, a 20cents. Feel like kicking the damn mach!

guess what? did we have that 100plus after such a long story?

yeah we did, savoured till last drop hahhaha... how it was done... leave it to your imagination... :)

upheveals! this week had been crazy be it work, study, finance... even machines are irritating the s**t out of me... because of one meeting and plenty sudden request for information, i had to forgo my exams... deferred exams on exercise programming... :(

i literally broke down in the beginning of the week, mentally distressed didnt know where to begin with, the "how-tos" and wanted to give up on everything i've worked hard on these years... simply wanting to let go cos i suddenly thought how good would it be if i can be given a chance to start afresh... no backlogs, up-on-pace... a part of me wanted to do it... the other part of me is reluctant... if i can't even deal with such matters, what more can i deal with in future?

a big thank you to friends and colleagues and all whom had heard my worries and unhappiness... after straightening out my thoughts... ought to cease my grousing... there are plenty of ordeals in other ppz lives too... comparing to some of them, what i'm going through is minor... those who had to worry about dad who fell very sick isnt complaining, those who had to worry about how to make ends meet isnt complaining, those who slogged out their lives isnt too... who am i to do it? life goes on for them...

maybe i havent tried my best... am blessed with plenty of care and warmth from family that i do not have to worry about alot... that i can go out playing... which made me a spoilt brat who cannot deal with what lies ahead... (i'm actually afraid to have to do things by myself...) i ought to push my limits... i have to believe... i have to JUST DO IT!

Singapore over a week of journey... it's hell! But seriously, over the past week, i've learnt alot cos the docs taught me tonnes of stuff i aint aware of... for once i thought, they are pretty smart aside from their clinical work. They strategize like old mother-in-laws in the peranakan and hong kong serials... but of course strategies aint as realistic as "pure luck" you can plan for everything but some things are to be left to the hands of "somebody up there" i supposed... being their "travel secretary", i was tasked to change their flights, their hotels, their transport and fix the nitty gritties... being a "Noob", i replied with "certainly, sirs..." and did that accordingly... guess what?

Boss: "Hi Dynelle, tried calling u hope u arrived safely at LA

Guess what happened to us? will call you later.

...connecting call to boss...

got to know that their plane was cancelled & they got stuck @ raleigh airport instead of going crazy at Manhattan...

Boss: "Oh just to let u know that Dr Ralph Corey told Dr Kwek he is very impressed with u So I told them naturally so as she is well chosen & smart even down to choosing the right flights! i thought I would make your weekend for you!

Humble Secretary me: Haha Tts surely luck from a non frequent traveller! Prof, you guys travelled too much tts why the chances of you getting flight delay is higher!

Boss: "You're right so I can fix tt order u to fly more often!!

i couldnt help it and had a great laugh! aside that, all my efforts went down the drain i supposed...

of course, journey to LA was to catch up with my dear friend... one who was too valuable to have... except that it was too long since we met to which ate into our comfort levels... but i'm still glad that we went for japanese (totally thankful to have Asian! not that i hate American but i'm totally not into it), a beach stroll on soft sand that does not stick to your feet at Venice beach (santa monica's extended stretch i supposed), caught up for little chat till we doze off... finally it was time to say goodbye... though short, but had a great time...

not alot of shopping, not one photo, but am thankful that all the 5am wake-ups, 7.30am breakfast meeting, 8-10.30 pm dinner debrief routine were finally over...

time to do my exams again... there it goes... mug hard, super.mugger!

if that's really happening, that i can be more efficient in handling matters, that'll be good... most of the times, just felt that i've been lazing too much wasting alot of my time... take an example...

Sun, slept till abt 6.30pm not sure if that's after effect of a long due GPCME event which drained me totally or what... but it definitely wasted my Sunday!!! i compensated with an 8.6km jog... trying to feel better but still was pathetic... most ppl tell me that i work better with deadlines... seriously, i hate the rushing part... but i just cant prioritize events in the running... all doings are haphazard and was chaos... what i need is a system in place... a system where i work in it, mug in it and live well in that... i aint systematic... boo hoo!!!!!

oh no kreb cycle is creeping its way into my 3rd sem again... i always thought I've got that all locked into my brain cells, apparently it aint happening... kill me *banged* nice job!

one last ppr and i'm done for mid sem and can get back to residency + assignment again... isnt life like kreb cycle, disgusting...

***hilarious thing happened today... we're taking the rehab paper, 50 mcq, 88% from past year paper which i happened to ripped it from somewhere... *which I aint gonna tell... the skool is super duper lazy... but i like it! so class did it in 0.5 hrs and snoozed for the other half... it was kinda funny for invigilator who said "pens down" when all of us anxiously stuffed the papers into his arms like they were ! poisonous!

one last cool thing to tell before i repay my attention to KC & his friends mitochondria, etc... i've got myself a hols trip! unfortunately self-sponsored short trip... but a cool one... I'm gonna SURFING in Bali... owe tt to a spontaneous friend... u know how hard it is to schedule time for such????!!!! muacks i love it!

gosh! half a yr's gone and time really flies... i'm already starting my third semester where we get to go to the cool labs get the trials done and all that... mmm already expecting more exciting stuffs to come... yeah yeah!

well, talking abt exciting... residency program is hitting almost full force and i can feel it gushing right into my face... alot of expectations from everyone... but i aint sure if i can handle tt... the feeling is like a student trying to be a teacher, finding various means and ways, digging into the text, goog-ling, just to provide "a-little-more-than-immature" professional advice... the program directors ask me questions, my DIO ask me for task which i aint confident... i tried but many times, it seems beyond me... sometimes, i hoped for someone whom i can leech on, who can supervise me... but i guess it may not happen... it'll be good if the batteries don't run flat cos I'm only banking on those to hype me up!

mmm can i find someone to hug? terribily missed bear hugs... its been long... :(

You want to write, you have a hell lots of things to write it out, to write it away so that it doesn't clogged up your system and create a mess out life. it's difficult for me to express how i want things be as i was never a verbal person... i guess things are this way for me and friends around should have already known...

still i think that there should be a balance in this world, where self-expressive ones come together to meet with the quiet ones (like me!)... imagine if your group of friends are all the noisy sort, what kind of market would it form? sometimes i do appreciate if i can have a cuppa coffee and just relax, browse through magazines & the news, rather than have to fight with other bunch of talkers who contribute to forming the "forex" environment at the wrong time of the day... (i'm in it now)

its difficult cos ppl find it rude not to continue a conversation which meant exchanging 'how- have-you-been's, updating each other lives and worse, comparing the high quality of living which they are enjoying now... I'm not one who likes comparisons... being born in Singapore and raised here for 20 odd years, its enough of comparing apples with oranges... at the end of the day, they are not the same thing... why compare?

stressful, yet interesting. an environment i'm born in yet wanna escape from... contradicting? mmmm hell yeah... :)

it's been a busy but fulfilling week... adrenaline gushing and it's time of the yr again! ASM (uhhuhuhh.... nope it's not an acronym for A SEX MANIAC... but close to...boo!) it's the annual scientific meeting hahaha... this yr's been tough since our chairperson's a LCP+micromanager+indecisive man who flips his decision like a prata... doesnt remember what'd been decided, flickered-minded... meh ye meh ye... we're already dead in the heart but gotta bulldoze like a cow... it's 2 weeks to go...

well, aint my life exciting when it's bonus for the same person who happened to be our director, our direct boss? yeah definitely... but i must admit... admire his energy to run endless meetings, discussions, surgeries and juggle so many hats at the same time... yet able to speak at a speed of 3wordspersecond which = mumbling thru his way & to a point of no return... oh manz... to match up with him... i must say... HELL I LOVE MY JOB....hahaha

day after day, searching for the things wanna achieve... i planned some yet lost some in the midst of working on a project... guess i had'a buck up in building my memory cells to retain these impt things... or be an old grandma, jotting it all down in a moldy diary (mmm... not rich enough to get a pda!)

on 3 occasions, boss asked me, "are you gonna further your studies? get a degree?"... all occasions, i felt like telling him... "i do! but where the hell do i fetch monies from?"... of course not... i didn't say that otherwise.... you know what's gonna take place next. next qn came about... which major? what am I interested in? good prospects? what am i gonna do after graduation? how would i know it's something that is worth my monies? it's either me or my group of friends... neither party knew where we're heading for and future looks bleak and scary... do you feel the same?

thought hard... why do we have to choose the course of study when i dunno which road i wanna take next? shouldn't there be a chance for me to try out the course of work before going all out? isnt it the same when you intend to buy a pot of mask but ask for samples before you get one? mmm... reality is harsh... if you wanna be a doc (not that i wanna be one), you need to get qualifications, accreditation, certification before you get to see and touch a sick patient... there is little opportunities out there for those who are interested yet unsure... recently, there had been a series of promotion for ppl to take up health careers... to take up such jobs, you need the papers... zoom into allied health jobs... if you look into education opportunities for such careers in Singapore, there is only NYP for diplomas... next, i dun think there is much more choices... if you intend to pursue a degree, it's australia, new zealand... poor buggers like me stand no chance to switch job without science background & no diploma... i'm stuck!

nothing, no one to blame... but things might be different if i tot of it much much sooner... well, gotta fiddle around with life... i'm still trying to find loopholes in it to get into what i wanna do next... (but i STILL think there should be available "samples" before we "buy" it :P)

p.s. mmm better get a grandma diary soon...

wait-ing: wey-ting: To remain or stay in expectation

it looked ugly, everyone nasty, snatching away things without upholding their integrity. what am i talking about? mmm... let's see... job promotion, guys, gaining ppl's pity and even attention i would say. it all bogs down to personal expectations, next - unwanted bitching around, fighting ungraciously and in the end, more misunderstandings, hatred...

watching these actions go "live", it just gave me a reason to forgo the perks and just lead a simple life... call me easily contented, but isn't it one of the pleasures of your life? no quarrels, no shouting and screaming... treating everyone your closest...

but of course, contentment isn't a big fan of today challenges... i am wey-ting... not remaining obsolete but staying in expectations... high expectations of ownself but least of others... i am waiting... waiting for me to grow, to learn, to understand why things happen the way it took place.

Once, I've pinned too much and had images of him hanging at my void deck planning to give me a surprise... waited seven years, scarred twice, he gave me surprise but also intimidated me with the cruel truth. "you're not the one." The abandoned feelings speared through me and caused my reluctance in baring my needs and believing in love... a dear friend once told me to stop waiting... and move on... i didn't. till it killed me the second time, i learned... i'm half foot moving but heart's still... i guess that the pain's still within me... it's tedious for me to rationalise even a year later... i am building courage abundant enough to move on... taking away expectations, in turn impose good wishes to him... i set foot to somewhere tranquil, some place where i can continue my dance to celebrate the finale of my story...

P.S. to you, i remained ... to me, you gave up.
